Ctrl+D opens the Design Manager. That allows you to search for all elements that are in a design (schematic or PCB). If you want to find components to place into a new design then do: >**Shift+F** and then enter a search term such as a part number (incomplete part numbers will find more variations of the part). To find basic components such as wires and ground or supply symbols, voltage sources, generic transistors and so on, go to the left hand **Navigation** panel and look in the **EasyEDA Libs**. There are also some commonly used footprints in the **General Packages > Through Hole** and **General Packages > Surface Mount** lists.
