it just creates a new schematic in an existing project called "New Project".
this is really confusing as it keeps popping up dialogs complaining that the project has multiple schematics, merging schematics, etc... all i wanted was a new project!
also, how do you delete documents in a project? i have looked through all the duplicated (why!?) menus in the editor, and in the account page, and i can't find any way to do this.
