"view datasheet" doesn't work if LCSC has no stock

<span class="colour" style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34);">I am designing a pcb that includes the voltage regulator </span><span class="colour" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">C80894.  It is available in the library and I verified with JLPCB that there are 2453 in stock and I can use the part.  LCSC has none in stock and when I click on "view datasheet" I get a message saying ""C80894" did not return any results". </span><br> <br> <span class="colour" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">So I am not able to view the datasheet for this part.  This is a problem.,</span>

@UserSupport It's still broken.  Put C80894 in a schematic and click on View Datasheet.

You don't understand the problem.  The part IS in smd stock at jlcpcb and I'm using the part in my design.  But when I click on View Datasheet I cannot see the datasheet.  This is the problem.  Why not show the datasheet at all times, even if not in stock?

@mchahn, As a workaround until this can be resolved, try Googling: lcsc C80894 This should show you the part at the domestic (chinese) LCSC site: [https://item.szlcsc.com/82044.html](https://item.szlcsc.com/82044.html) from where you can then download the (english) datasheet. :)

Note that if the part has been discontinued, it may not be the best choice for a new design if it is to be produced in quantity.

I haven't seen any indication the mfgr has disontinued the part.  And jlpcb has a zillion.
