For this diode subckt model, place a zener diode symbol from the EasyEDA Libs into your schematic then follow the instructions in this example: <https://easyeda.com/file_view_Attaching-a-.subckt-to-a-symbol-01_808qkCTN5.htm> (Part of: <https://easyeda.com/project_view_Spice-tutorials-02_YxrJ1Vd7p.htm> and <https://easyeda.com/project_view_Spice-tutorials_AysKEWevN.htm>) * Please note: Copy and paste the *original* text of this model (*not* the text from your post because Markdown has messed up the syntax!) :)

@ justinpinetree, **There's a problem with the model you have found.** The simulation engine used in EasyEDA is **ngspice**. <http://ngspice.sourceforge.net/presentation.html> Ngspice is based on **SPICE3**. The model you have found is a **PSPICE** compatible model and it contains some statements and syntax that are not compatible with ngpsice. To avoid a lot of pain and editing to work around the problems this incompatibility would cause, I have put a **SPICE3** version of the subckt from: <http://www.onsemi.com/pub/Collateral/1N5956BRL.SP3> into the EasyEDA spice model library. * So now all you have to do is place the zener symbol in the schematic and then simply edit the name from: `BZT52C10` to: `d1n5956brl`
