Hi, After you run the simulation, the waveform viewer will open auto when you run a tran. ac etc. you can save the simulation result as a waveform file.

After I select run the project, the Show Your Simulation Report window comes up with the following: Circuit: simple r and battery Doing analysis at TEMP = 27.000000 and TNOM = 27.000000 Initial Transient Solution -------------------------- Node Voltage ---- ------- v1_+ 5 v1#branch -0.005 No. of Data Rows : 1008 ngspice-26 done No other window opens. The circuit is just a battery and a resistor.

You just run a OP simulation, there is no wave for that circuit. If you would like to see waveform, please open this link and press `CTRL+R` https://easyeda.com/editor#id=IT1VrXR93

I'm about to give up on this thing... what is an OP Simulation? What is a "net"?

You would better to make your circuit public, so we can give a help. It seems you need to add a voltage probe. like below image. ![](/edaImg/cms/1414332144_TRANS.png) OP is operation point simualtion, there is no waveform for this . `net` means connection. same net means to connect together.
