Hi Uzfm,

When I open your PCB file:

https://easyeda.com/editor#id=dfd016d3382547b18849af09bd112c52

select any pad or segment of any PCB trace:

enter image description here

and press the H key, the whole trace is highlighted:

Does this not happen for you?

when I click yes. when drawing no!

For the H key to highlight a trace then you have to click on a trace segment to select it.

H does not highlight a trace while you are drawing it.

it is very bad! is not very convenient to paint!
Can you do something?

When you draw a new trace it should appear in the same colour as other traces on the same layer (i.e. red for top layer, blue for bottom layer).

I don't understand why you need the trace to be highlighted while you are drawing it.

Please clarify.

Can you post a screenshot of what happens as you add some traces to your PCB and add some notes to it to explain the problem?

  • Are you saying that you want the trace that you are routing to be made brighter or to change colour while you are routing it?

A screenshot from P-CAD or some other package would help illustrate exactly what it is that you are asking for.

If you can illustrate and explain clearly what you want the tool to do then may I suggest that you raise a Feature Request?

In the absence of any annotation on your image, I assume that the the trace that appears coloured in Cyan is the trace of interest.

  • Is that correct?

It is not clear from your image if this trace is in the process of being drawn (i.e. it is incomplete) or if it is a finished route (i.e. it is complete).

  • In the annotated image below, does the thin vertical segment of Cyan trace in the blue oval represent an incomplete section of trace?

The thin vertical segment of Cyan trace in the blue oval is just a Ratline (or an Airline)?
